Children's Events
High School Musical 2
A film for grade 3 and up will take place Tuesday, January 22 at 3 p.m. in the Merry Room. Advance registration is required, sign up online or at the Children's reference desk.
A Family Scavenger Hunt!
will take place Tuesday, February 19, all day in the Children's Deparmtent. The hunt is for all ages from preschool through adult. Participants will try to locate the musical notes hidden in plain view. Different levels of difficulty available for older children and adults. All children need to be accompanied by an adult. No advance registration is necessary, just drop in.
Bedtime Tales & Tunes
An evening storytime for preschool through grade one with parent will take place on Wednesday, February 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Children's Department. Advance registration is required, sign up online or at the Children's reference desk.
Musical Moments!
A storytime for children in preschool through grade 2,
will take place at the Duxbury Senior Center,
on Thursday, February 21, at 11 a.m.
Children must be accompanied by a grandparent or favorite adult for the 30 minute program that will feature stories, songs, poem, and chants. A kid-friendly lunch will be served at 1130 but advance reservations are required. Call the Senior Center at 781-934-5774.
A Crooked Kind of Perfect
A two day read aloud program for grades 3 and 4. A clunky organ, a zany dad, and unpredictable events sour Zoe's dream of piano greatness. Tuesday And Wednesday,Mar. 4 and 5, 3 to 4 p.m. in the children's program room. Registration required.
