Collection Space Policy

When the library accepts donations of multiple items around a topic and the donor requests a permanent display area:

A display area with all new resources will be set up for up to six months at the discretion of the director. Appropriate signage and publicity may be provided by the library. After the display period, materials will be shelved in the appropriate collections. An annotated bibiography (with call numbers) acknowledging the donor will be available so that users can locate resources easily. The director has the discretion to approve the following procedures: Additional materials may be displayed if they are given. Bookplates acknowledging the gift my be placed in each item if the donor so desires.
