Meeting Rooms

    • Three meeting rooms are available for public use.
    • Library sponsored activities will be given priority.
    • A request for the use of a meeting room must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the date of use.
    • Requests are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
    • The Library Director reserves the right to reject any application and scheduling conflicts will be resolved at the Director's discretion.
    • Twenty-four hour notice of cancellation is required, except in a weather emergency.
    • Each group will be responsible for leaving rooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
    • For security reasons all people should enter the Library by the lower door.
    • Food and drink must be confined to the lower level.
    • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Library.
    • The Trustees will not assume responsibility for the loss or damage of property not belonging to the Duxbury Free Library.

Lanman Room, upper level

$40 for 1-3 hours, $15 for each hour thereafter.

*Non-profit groups may use the rooms for free during library hours; they may be charged a fee for use outside of hours. Other groups will be charged fees both during and outside of library hours. Checks must be made payable to the "Town of Duxbury".
